The Ravenshoe/Mt Garnet Rifle Club shoots competitions every Sunday (9am muster for 9.30am start) at the Ravenshoe Shooting Complex located on Cemetery Road in Ravenshoe. Competitions are shot at distances of 300, 400, 500, 600 yards and 700 & 800 meters with one distance shot each week. We shoot several categories of rifles: Target Rifle, F Standard, F Open, F/TR and Sporting-Hunting. The Club welcomes everyone who would like to come and try our sport. Very hot and sunny Sunday morning in Ravenshoe today with switching winds and plenty of mirage. Results 600yds and 800m combined competition. F Standard – M. Wilson 101.2, L. Wilson 91. F Open: P. Padgett 107.3. F/TR – C. Allman 116.6, B. Gianasi 113.7, G. Sandilands 107.6, J. Househam 105.3. Sporting-Hunting: J. Anderson 95.5.

Congratulation to Kade Tripp on his first try at long range shooting with 55.1 in F/TR at the 600yds and 57.3 at the 800m in F Open.  

Sunday, December 27: 600 yards and 800m combined competition.
