Saturday 12 October will be Herberton Rifle Club’s Annual Open Prize Meeting, then on Sunday 13 October Ravenshoe/Mt Garnet Rifle Club will hold their Annual Shoot during Ravenshoe’s Torimba (Festival of the Forest) celebrations.

Results fro double 600 yards on a warm sunny day with heavy mirage and slight changing winds.

Field Rifle – John Anderson 98.9;  F-Standard – Liz Wilson 114.7, Murray Wilson 114.7 (Liz counted Murray out on count back), Darrell Holden 107.2.

Next Sunday will be a working bee in preparation for our Annual Prize Shoot on Sunday 13^th October.  There will be another working bee on Wednesday.  Also, Saturday 12^th October will be Herberton Rifle Club’s Annual Open Prize Meeting.  Now that the weather is warming up, all shooters should enjoy a great shoot on both days.
