The Ravenshoe/Mt Garnet Rifle Club shoots competitions every Sunday (9am muster for 9.30am start) at the Ravenshoe Shooting Complex located on Cemetery Road in Ravenshoe. Competitions are shot at distances of 300, 400, 500, 600 yards and 700 & 800 meters with one distance shot each week. We shoot several categories of rifles: Target Rifle, F Standard, F Open, F/TR and Sporting-Hunting. The Club welcomes everyone who would like to come and try our sport. Results for Sunday 7 January 2018

Results of double 600 yards on a partially cloudy/sunny Sunday with intermittent rain and sudden gusts of wind: Target Rifle – S. Durham 102.8.  F Standard – M. Wood 113.7, D. Holden 101.1, M. Wilson (1/2 round) 57.2, J. Hilton (1/2 round) 42.  F/TR – John Anderson 110.4. Leigh Bosel came to see what target rifle shooting was about – had 4 shots - 2 sighters then 2 sixes, then gave up while ahead.  What a great start Leigh!

Sunday, January 14: Double 500 yards, weather permitting. 9am muster, 9.30am start.
