The Ravenshoe/Mt Garnet Rifle Club shoots competitions every Sunday (9am muster for 9.30am start) at the Ravenshoe Shooting Complex located on Cemetery Road in Ravenshoe. Competitions are shot at distances of 300, 400, 500, 600 yards and 700 & 800 meters with one distance shot each week. We shoot several categories of rifles: Target Rifle, F Standard, F Open, F/TR and Sporting-Hunting. The Club welcomes everyone who would like to come and try our sport. Sunny afternoon with heavy mirage and changing winds. Results for double 800 yards, 10 shot match are as follow: F Standard – M. Wood 112.2, M. Wilson 111.4. F Open – P. Padgett 112.2. F/TR – J. Anderson 106.3, B Gianasi (half round) 55.1.

Sunny morning with heavy mirage and high winds very gusty at times. Results for double 600 yards, 10 shot match are as follow: Target Rifle - S. Durham (Mareeba) 96.4. F Standard – M. Wood 112.7, M. Wilson 110.8. F Open – P. Padgett 109.3. F/TR – C. Allman 114.4, J. Anderson 108.6, B Gianasi 100.3.
Next weekend NQRA Club Teams Competition at the Hervey Range Shooting Complex in Townsville.

Next shoot in Ravenshoe on Sunday, September 24: Double 800, 10 shot comp. 12.30pm muster, 1pm start.
