LIZ WILSON IN BRONZE AT THE CANBERRA QUEENS

The Canberra Queens was held 13 - 17 November 2013, celebrating 100 years. Canberra itself was celebrating their 100th anniversary, so the Club has been in operation for a long time.
Conditions were extremely difficult, with 20 km/hour winds, changing 3 to 4 minutes of wind left to right and often changing through a shoot. Very hard to read - thus making low scores at times. It was a good turn up, with 207 shooters competing - 60 F Standard and 24 F Open. Liz Wilson managed a third place at the second 800m shoot and received a nice 100th anniversary glass. Murray battled hard, but no gong unfortunately. Canberra is a lovely range with good facilities and we recommend anyone to participate in this Queens in the future.
