The Ravenshoe/Mt Garnet Rifle Club shoots competitions every Sunday (9am muster for 9.30am start) at the Ravenshoe Shooting Complex located on Cemetery Road in Ravenshoe. Competitions are shot at distances of 300, 400, 500, 600 yards and 700 & 800 meters with one distance shot each week. We shoot several categories of rifles: Target Rifle, F Standard, F Open, F/TR and Sporting-Hunting. The Club welcomes everyone who would like to come and try our sport. Results Sunday 13 November 2016

Hot and sunny with mirage and switching winds was set up for the shooters in Ravenshoe at 500yds today. Results are as follow: Target Rifle - S. Durham (Mareeba) 103.13. F Open – P. Padgett 118.5. F/TR – B. Gianasi 114.7, J. Anderson 109.

Sunday, November 20: C&IDRA shoot (double 500yds, 10 shots comp.) and AGM will be held in Mareeba, 8.30am start. Next shoot in Ravenshoe will be on Sunday 27 November: double 600yds, 10 shots comp. 9am muster for 9.30am start.

Sunny with mirage and switching winds were the conditions for the shooters at 500yds in Ravenshoe today. Results are as follow: Target Rifle - S. Durham (Mareeba) 101.6, F Standard – M. Wood 119.10, L. Wilson 116.10, M. Wilson 111.5. F Open – P. Padgett 114.1. F/TR – C. Allman 113.6, B. Gianasi 112.4, J. Anderson 103.
