Twenty-four shooters from Mossman to
Bowen and the Tablelands gathered in Ravenshoe for the Club Annual Prize
Meeting. The shoot was competed over three ranges: 500yds and double 600yds.
The day started with light winds at the 500yds, but things got more challenging
at 600yds with heavy mirage settling in due the sunny and hot conditions. Congratulations
to the winners: TR1 – M. Beecham (Mareeba) 148.10; TR2 – S. Durham (Mareeba)
144.9; FS1 - J. Blomfield (Bowen) 172.10 after a shoot off with M. Wilson
